In my last blog update post, I listed some plans for features I wanted to add to my site and blog, including

• blog post reactions and comments
• better content management, and
• better image hosting

I've added these in!
This post will give some basic details about how and why I did each of these things, from most to least interesting.

I'm usually curious about this sort of thing with other personal sites, so I'm sharing some details about how my site works, and how I landed on the toolset I'm using! This will be lighter on technical specifics. If you're looking to set up something similar and you're interested in advice or some good starting points, look for a setup-focused blog post in the near future!
